Long standing Web Genius client Maria Mullane of Aspire Solutions is currently fundraising for cochlear implants to provide hearing to profoundly deaf children. Maria’s own son was born profoundly deaf and has benefited from the cochlear implants.
Unfortunately, Government funding is only available for one of the implants, and the cost of another implant is extremely costly. With a goal of $6,000 to $10,000, Maria aims to help 3 families in Wellington who need funds to pay for a 2nd cochlear implant for their infants.
