Read the following excerpt from my book ‘The NZ Small Business Superhero’s Marketing Handbook’ to understand how calls to action can help you turn visitors into buyers…
Most small business websites are far too general in their approach. The typical small business site tends to be a general summary of the business, for use by the general public.
But an effective website needs to be much more specific in its focus. It needs to persuade someone specific (ie your perfect prospect) to do something specific (ie take one of your calls to action).
The measure of how persuasive and successful your website is ultimately comes down to how many visitors respond to one of your calls to action.
Monitoring the responses to your various calls to action and regularly trying new content to improve your conversion rates should be an ongoing process to continually improve the website’s performance.
