Along with Matt Parlane (head programmer), second from left, Michelle Naylor (administrator extraordinaire), middle, I recently presented the "big cheque" to Youth Quest’s Paul Fong (second from right) and Jeremy Neeve.
It was a great feeling to be able to pass on the cheque for $10,000 to Youth Quest recently. We raised the funds for the local charity last year through various activities such as a sponsored run/walk, a raffle, sausage sizzles as well as a concert featuring local bands including the No Problemos, which is made up of Web Genius team members.
Youth Quest is a great bunch of people who work with adolescent boys who have got into trouble, to give them a sense of purpose and get them back on the straight and narrow.
The Web Genius team has re-committed to raise another $10,000 for Youth Quest again this year.
