From April 1st 2025, Web Genius are doubling free monthly website support minutes from 30 minutes to 1 hour for all our website customers—ensuring even more access to expert support whenever you need it, at no extra cost.
This change is based on feedback from our clients and is designed to make it even easier and more affordable to keep your website up to date.
Why the upgrade?
We heard from some of our clients that 30 minutes wasn’t quite enough to keep their websites updated with all the changes they needed on a regular basis. By increasing free support time to 1 hour per month, we’re making it easier than ever for you to keep your site fresh, relevant, and performing at its best.
For most businesses, 1 hour per month will be more than enough to take care of regular updates. For more substantial changes, clients can talk to the support team or their account manager about bolt-on products such as design upgrades or extra pages. In some cases clients may be able to use accrued Website for Life (WFL) credits to cover or partly cover additional support work.
What can support minutes be used for?
Your 1-hour per month free support time can be used for a huge range of updates, including:
Adding or updating website text and images
Creating or modifying contact forms
Updating team profiles or business details
Adding a promotional pop-up
Embedding videos or social media feeds
Minor layout tweaks and formatting fixes
It’s important to note that Support minutes do not roll over, so it is worth making the most of the free hour every month!

This change comes alongside an update to our standard support hourly rate, which will increase to $125 per hour to match industry rates on April 1st. That means your 1 free hour of support is now worth $125 every month!
Combined with your Website for Life credits, that equates to $167 in value every single month—completely free. And this is on top of the other elements of your monthly fee like hosting, SEO, GBP management, reporting etc. No competitor comes close to offering this level of value.
A Quick Reminder About Website for Life
Every Web Genius website client earns $500 Web Genius Dollars per year* (up to $1,500) to use on Web Genius products and services—another way we help our clients get the most from your website.
